Education for All: Hosting our new Equine-Assisted Programs with hands-on workshops, lectures, and compassionate care classes

Healing Through Horses: Supporting veterans, first responders, youth, and caregivers through mindfulness-based, non-riding sessions

Rescue and Rehabilitation: Enrichment, training, and increased visibility for horses awaiting adoption

built on partnership

This vision is brought to life in collaboration with Garret’s Promisea foundation committed to creating healing spaces in memory of Garret Lederman. Their support represents shared values of transformation, compassion, and courage.

“Through our work with 13 Hands, we’ve witnessed rescue efforts of extraordinary scale where horses are saved from horrific conditions, rehabilitated in both body and spirit, and restored to a life of purpose. What truly moved us was how their rescue efforts don’t stop with horses—offering retreats, workshops, and equine-assisted learning programs for veterans and individuals navigating grief and mental health challenges. 13 Hands is a living testament to the healing power of compassion, and the indoor arena will expand their reach, allowing even more lives to be restored, hearts to be mended, and hope to take root again.”
