13 Hands Equine Rescue
Our rescue is home to nearly 200 equines across more than 113 acres, and these guided walking tours are our opportunity to share that world with you.
A tour offers a rare chance to experience rescue life firsthand—from meeting the horses, donkeys, mules, zebras, minis, mustangs, and other farm animals who call 13 Hands home, to learning about our rescue mission and getting a behind-the-scenes look at the daily care that makes lifelong sanctuary possible. Every tour is interactive, personal, and shaped by your questions.
Your Visit Makes a Difference
13 Hands Equine Rescue is a nonprofit rescue and sanctuary—not a commercial attraction. Every reservation is more than a visit; it is a meaningful investment in the horses and other equines who depend on us every day.
Your reservation donation helps provide hay, grain, veterinary and farrier care, shelter, property maintenance, and the dedicated staff and volunteers who make both the rescue and your visit possible.
Whether you’re visiting for the first time, returning with friends, or sponsoring one of our horses, your support helps ensure these remarkable animals continue to receive the care, dignity, and lifelong sanctuary they deserve.
Thank you for visiting, supporting our mission, and becoming part of their story.
