Meet Pistol Annie

Pistol Annie is currently comfortable in her glued on front shoes and does best on dry terrain to support her hoof care. Her shoes are replaced with every trim, which is a necessary but costly part of her routine. Recent X-rays showed coffin bone rotation and white line disease, and she is on supplements to support her hoof health.

She is a very sweet mare who is easy to be around, responsive, and well mannered. She stands quietly for the farrier, vet, and dentist. Annie was evaluated for temperament for a therapy program and passed with flying colors. She has also been under saddle several times for evaluative purposes and handled it well.

Due to her ongoing hoof needs, securing a sponsor or an adopter who can maintain her care plan is the goal. Annie is a kind, willing mare who thrives with consistent management and a calm environment.
