Our Horses
Desert Rose is a 2022 miniature horse with a tough, defensive personality, though she has started to soften as she gets older. She can be mouthy and unpredictable, and she’s still learning how to interact appropriately with people. Even so, she is very curious, and someone experienced with horses who show defensiveness would be able to help her make steady progress. She simply hasn’t had the chance to develop strong social skills with humans, but she has potential with the right approach.
She is able to have her hooves trimmed without sedation. She also has a malformation of her front teeth; she was evaluated by a veterinarian, and no treatment is needed at this time.
Desert Rose needs someone willing to take the time to understand her and give her the chance she hasn’t had yet. Someone patient enough to help her grow into the horse she could be.
