Meet Bugsy

Bugsy is a friendly, easygoing gelding who has quickly become a volunteer favorite. He’s been handled regularly by volunteers and enjoys human attention, making him a pleasant horse to spend time with on the ground.

He arrived with an eye injury that has been evaluated by a veterinarian. The eye is currently stable, but his future adopter should be aware that if the condition changes, surgery to remove the eye may be recommended. For now, he’s doing well and takes everything in stride.

Bugsy is good for the farrier and leads politely. He thrives with routine and regular contact, and he settles in best when he knows what to expect from his day and his people. He gets along well with both mares and geldings in his mixed herd.

With his gentle nature and willingness to connect, Bugsy is a lovely companion for someone who appreciates a kind, steady horse with a big heart.
