Join Jennifer Cohen Harper and the team at 13 Hands Equine Rescue for a unique winter getaway dedicated to warmth, rest, and quiet connection. This weekend is designed as a mostly self-guided experience with gentle support—a chance to slow down, curl up by the fire, and nourish yourself in the company of the herd. This intimate retreat is open to all adults. With only five guest rooms available, we will be a small group, making this perfect for individuals seeking solitude or couples looking for a meaningful weekend to connect. We also have options to commute if you live local.

Join Mindfulness with Horses founder Jennifer Harper, for an afternoon of connecting with the horses, community support, and nourishing mindfulness practices with the horses of 13 Hands Equine Rescue.
This retreat is designed to support those currently engaged in caring for others, whether personally or professionally. Take time to restore your spirit, energy, and connection to the natural world, as you access practices to reduce burnout, navigate resentment, and increase joy. Activities include:

Join Jennifer Cohen Harper and the team at 13 Hands Equine Rescue for a chance to rest and reset, in the company of horses on their own healing journey. We’re excited to offer a unique opportunity to stay onsite in a beautiful home at 13 Hands during this retreat, as well as the option to commute. This non-riding retreat is appropriate for anyone! No horse or mindfulness experience necessary. All horse interaction will be from the ground, and tailored to the individual participant’s experience and comfort level.
