Meet Porter

Porter, rescued in 2022, is a magnificent mustang with a personality as grand as his physical presence. Sturdy and solid from head to toe, he’s a playful goofball at heart. Porter loves welcoming visitors to his paddock, standing endlessly for a good scratch session, or, if he trusts you, a thorough grooming.

Though he has a history of riding, these days his main job is to relax and enjoy life. Porter takes his role as guardian of the herd very seriously. While his herd mates are resting, he is always the first to spot any wild animals or visitors approaching the pasture. Born in the wild, Porter possesses instincts and a drive to protect his herd that set him apart from our domestic horses.
