Midnight combines all the charm of a class clown while also being an overachiever. Smart and funny, he has been loving the attention and games he gets as one of the horses in our Soft Landings program. He is a fast and enthusiastic learner – sometimes we can’t even get him to take breaks from our games! He says who cares about treats in a bucket when you could be getting treats with games?

Highly social, he loves both his human and equine companions, and would thrive in a home with someone who wants to do groundwork, play games, and shower him in attention. Even though his riding days are over, Midnight is an active and energetic guy who enjoys gentle movement work and would like to continue learning and having adventures for years to come.

He is a gentleman to handle on the ground, but with suspected arthritis in his hind legs, it is difficult for him to hold his back legs up for an extended length of time. Bute and mild sedation have both been useful tools to help him feel more comfortable during trims.
