horse for adoption upstate new york

Juliet has evolved during her time here. She’s friendly and curious and no longer retreats when humans are near. She gets along with all the mares in the herd and is now one of the first ones to walk up and greet you.

She has had some training since arriving and while she does take a saddle and girth, she is not familiar with a bit or lunging. It is possible she was ridden in the past with a bitless bridle. Juliet is great with leaving the herd for her trainings. She has basic ground manners and had some training to get her more comfortable with having her back feet handled. She has made progress, but will need to continue training at her new home.

Juliet is a wise soul and a very sweet girl! She needs a home where she can continue to enjoy the company of equines and bond with a human or two!
