Meet Gale

Estimated to be born around 2000 (though she carries herself with youthful energy), Gale was rescued already in foal. She spent her first year and a half with us preparing for and lovingly raising her colt, Milagro, who was born in June 2023. She remained by his side until he was weaned.

Gale is a confident, dominant mare who thrives with a pasture companion that matches her presence. Though she hasn’t been under saddle since 2022, she was evaluated with tack in Fall 2024.

She’s a gaited horse, though her exact breed remains unconfirmed. Anyone looking to work with her under saddle should be prepared to offer gentle conditioning and groundwork as part of her continued development.

Gale enjoys being hand-grazed, groomed and pampered. She cross ties well and stands patiently for the farrier.

She’s ready for a home that appreciates a senior mare with plenty of life ahead.
