Big Mac certainly lives up to his name with his larger than life personality. He likes to be the center of attention and doted upon with love and affection. Mac is a gaited, green broke horse on the flat at walk, trot, and canter.  No spook.  Mac has been on and off stall rest for months and we watch him carefully.   He greets everyone who comes to the farm.  Big Mac might be a great pet or pasture pal and he certainly is impressive to look at, but we don’t think he will be rideable.  He’s got a great personality and disposition.

August 2018 – He is currently recovering from a leg injury and doing very well. He will likely not be able to be ridden and will be a permanent herd member here at 13 Hands.

Update July 2019 – Mac continues to have off and on issues with his leg, but is doing very well as leader of the herd at Hopewell Junction!
