Raising Awareness at the John Jay Homestead & Pleasantville Farmers Markets

12 August, 2017

We tackled both the John Jay Homestead AND the Pleasantville Farmers Markets yesterday to raise awareness for our rescue and its mission to ‘Rescue, Rehabilitate & Rehome’ slaughter-bound horses, as well as our EAGALA modeled Therapy Program, while providing fun equine-themed activities for kids. Both were a huge success thanks to Diane “Pink” Pincus, Melissa Mirkin, Marisol Feliciano and Nicole Rivard. However, Our ?MVP?Award goes to “Champ” (the stuffed horse) who graciously gave pony rides, all the while sporting orange sunglasses, to all who visited his booth.
